I don't know whether it was Avril or the coorperation's idea take a good looking preppy girl, dress her in punk clothes and put her on MTV. But, now all the preps think that "punk" is cool, and they have no idea what real punk is. The whole punk style is being taken and ruined so that it is fitting for preppy people to wear. Look at some of the stuff below:
